Heavy rainstorm has on Tuesday destroyed the newly constructed Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja.
The public infrastructure which was recently built by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, sustained heavy damage following a rainfall at the capital city.
According to reports, the downpour, which began around 3:30 p.m., blew off the terminal’s roof and scattered debris across both lanes of the dual carriageway, bringing vehicular movement along the Abuja-Keffi highway to a near standstill.

Videos and pictures shared in a post on Instagram by human rights activist, Isaac Fayose, showed debris from the detached roof littering across the stretch of the road.
While no casualty was reported, the development had however sparked mixed reactions from netizens as many called out Wike over what they considered an outcome of a poorly executed project.
