For alleged disregard for approved plan, the Lagos state government said on Tuesday that it has sealed a brach of the popular eating outlet, The Place.
A statement by the government said that the action became necessary after the outlet ignored the “stop work” order slammed on the premises by the officials of the state.
Located on Herbert Macauley Way, Yaba, government said “The seal up was carried out by the General Manager LASPPPA, Tpl Kehinde Osinaike in conjunction with the LASPPPA District Officer in that area and some other staff of the Authority while on a monitoring for enforcement exercise in the axis.
“While sealing the premises, the GM explained that the action became necessary after notices served the organization went unheeded.
“Osinaike further reiterated LASPPPA’s commitment to Zero Tolerance to illegal development in Lagos State.” The government had in recent time gone after developers who had allegedly violated regulations. It is also going after those violating environmental regulations
