The fresh online beef between Seun Kuti, son of legendary Afrobeat singer, Fela Kuti, and Wizkid FC, the fan base of popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid), has intensified as Seun charged the artiste to remove Fela’s tattoo from his hand.
Seun gave the charge in a video shared on X on Wednesday while reacting to Wizkid’s response to his fans alleged disrespect of Fela.
Wizkid had in a now deleted post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday slammed Seun while declaring that he is bigger than Fela.
“I’m Big Wiz every day, bigger than your Papa!! Wetin you wan do fool” Wizkid wrote on his Instagram story.
This had sparked mixed reactions from netizens with Seun also replying by demanding the singer’s removal of his father’s tattoo from his hand.
He accused the Holla at your Boy crooner of attempting to replace Fela by destroying his legacy.
“Let me tell you your problem, what you have is not enough, unless other people cannot have it.
“Except you remove that tattoo, you cannot use that hand to do something good again,
“Make you dey hate person for inside your soul. But to chase clout, dem go say Seun dey use Wizkid.
“The highest clout chaser is Wizkid for having Fela’s tattoo in your hand and beef in your heart.
“There is difference between being inspired by Fela and wanting to replace Fela.
“Your ambition is to replace Fela. That Fela still get mouth pass you dey vex you.
“All that your tattoo, coming to shrine, is an infiltrator childish method of coming inside so that you can start to destroy us from within.
“Me I understand that game of infiltrating what you want to destroy. That is what you did.” Seun said.
