Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has accused the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, and the current administration in the state of using banditry and kidnapping for propaganda.
El-Rufai, who had on Monday trolled Ribadu during an interview on Arise TV Prime Time programme, again called out the NSA over the kidnap of Fulani leader and 38 others yesterday.
Responding an X user who tagged him over the kidnap incident on Wednesday, El-Rufai said the kidnapped victims will be released early as their ransom will be paid with Ribadu handing them over to the state governor ceremoniously, in what he labelled propaganda.
He added that kidnapping has become the new modus operandi in the state under the administration of his predecessor, Uba Sani.
“True!! Don’t worry @realYusufTukur, the bandits will be paid to release them early, and then the NSA will hand the victims over to the state government in colorful ceremony. Propaganda trumps sensible governance.
“The terrorists, thus further financially empowered, will purchase even more sophisticated weapons and abduct even more people in Kaduna and elsewhere……that is the new ‘modus operandi’ of the geniuses in charge of our state these days.” El-Rufai said.
