The Chief of General Staff of Belarus,Gulevic V.V has resigned following his refusal to fight Ukraine.
Major General Gulevic revealed his decision in a letter written and obtained by NPOReports on Sunday night saying that his resignation is necessary because the Armed Forces of Belarus have no opportunity to equip any battalion group due to the massive refusal to take part in the hostilities of the personnel of the military units that were supposed to be involved in staffing the Battalion groups. The Armed Forces of Belarus have no opportunity of equipping any Battalion groups.
Letter reads;
Dear Victor Gennadievich
“Pursuant to your order regarding the formation of shock battalion group, I have to report the following:
“Due to the massive refusal to take part in the hostilities of the personnel of the military units that were supposed to be involved in staffing the above battalion groups,the Armed Forces of Belarus have no opportunity to equip any battalion group.
“Conducting explanatory work with the commanders of military units did not produce result.
“I have the courage to assume that the replacement of the commanders of these military units, who were unable to organize the formation of groups on the ground,will not give us the result we need.
“In view of the above,I ask for your decision regarding the acceptance of my resignation”.
Russia launched a full- scale military invasion into Ukraine on February 24,2022. The fight which has caused over 1.2 million of Ukrainians to become refugees in the neighboring countries like Polland,Greece etc
