Egyptian Forward, Mohammed Salah, earned Liverpool a 2-1 away win against Wolves to keep their title hope alive.
The Merseyside club had travelled to the Molineux Stadium for another Premier League weekend showdown against Wolves.
Liverpool failed to break the deadlock in the first 45 minutes but an Ibrahima Konate’s injury time header put Arne Slot’s side to a 1-0 lead before the end of halftime.
Few minutes into the second half, Konate cost Liverpool with a defensive blunder as Wolves Rayan Ait Nouri latched on a loose ball to bring the game to 1-1 for the home side.
However, a rough foul on Diogo Jota by Wolves defender Nelson Semedo gave Liverpool a goal scoring opportunity as the referee pointed at the penalty spot.
Mohammed Salah neatly converted the spot kick to put Liverpool into the lead.
With both teams failing to score again, the game them ended in 2-1 to put Liverpool on top of the Premier League table with 15 points.
