Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has taken his search for votes to the cab drivers at the Muritala Mohammed Airport Ikeja soliciting for support in the Saturday poll. He was joined by former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
Fayose together with Sanwo-Olu were with Transport Workers at the Local Airports in the State where the message on why Sanwo-Olu deserves second term was delivered.
Sanwo-Olu is seeking another four-year term as Lagos Governor on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor will be slugging it out with the candidates of Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party and Abdulazeez Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); that of the African Democratic Congress, Mr. Funsho Doherty and others.
The election which was earlier slated for March 11 was rescheduled for 18th. Since the conclusion of the presidential election where the Labour Party defeated the ruling party in Lagos, party leaders have been all out to upturn the trend in the governorship poll.
