Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has on Friday night hosted members of the Progressives Governors Forum for a closed-door meeting.
The forum, comprising of governors under the All Progressives Congress (APC), had reportedly arrived in Ikeja for deliberation on several burning issues of governance and development in the country.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X by the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile.
According to the statement, Sanwo-Olu had hosted the forum chaired by Imo State Governor, Hop Uzodinma, for what was described as a very crucial meeting.
“The Progressive Governors under the Chairmanship of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma is currently holding a very crucial meeting in Lagos.
“The PGF meeting is hosted by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and will deliberate on several burning issues of governance and development in the country.” The statement read.
Video attached to the post showed the arrival of Uzodinma accompanied by Sanwo-Olu and the other governors including Monday Okpebholo (Edo State), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti State), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta State), and Lucky Aiyedatiwa ( Ondo State).
Others include Ahmed Aliyu (Sokoto State), Usman Ododo (Kogi State), and Nasiru Idris (Kebbi State).
Meanwhile, the outcome of the meeting is yet to disclosed as at the time of filing this report.
