Outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has opened up on his reported appointment as the Chief of Staff to the President, Bola Tinubu. NPO Reported earlier that Gbajabiamila, who is top on the race for the position, was introduced the Chief of Staff to the President shortly before the commencement of the meeting of the security chiefs with the President on Thursday. NPO Reports however added that the reported appointment had not been formally announced.
Gbajabiamila, in a chat with some newsmen at the Presidential Villa said people should wait to allow the system to work things out. Urging patience, the Speaker said Nigerians should wait for the official announcement. Brimming with smiles, he said, “There is a way the system works,”
“Allow the system to work in its own way.”
