President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, has denied his alleged involvement in the attack of a student leader, Atiku Isah.
NPO Reported that Atiku, who claimed to be the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), was physically assaulted and brutalized by suspected thugs allegedly linked to Seyi Tinubu.
As captured in a now viral video on social media, the self-acclaimed NANS President claimed he was attacked by the thugs over his refusal to collect N100 million offer to promote President Bola Tinubu.
In the video, Atiku claimed to have visited Seyi Tinubu in Lagos where he was offered the money which he rejected.
He alleged that the younger Tinubu planned his abduction and that he was kidnapped on the 15th of April where he was beaten and stripped naked.
He further stated that he was taken to the NTA (Nigerian Television Authority) to make a voluntary statement that he had renounced his position as NANS president.
Reacting to the allegations in reel posts on his Instagram handle, Seyi Tinubu dismissed the claims, stressing that he had never met the said NANS President before.
He accused Atiku of attempt to defame his character.
“Wow…how can someone lie with so much confidence…? Wow wow…An attempt to defame my character. May God be with you Comrade Atiku Isah.” He wrote.
Seyi Tinubu reiterated that he had never held any meeting with him anywhere while further labelling his claims as fictional.
“I have never held a meeting to discuss any subject matter with Comrade Isah in Lagos or anywhere else in the world.
“I have never knowingly met him before. Neither did I visit any location with thugs.
“All these allegations by Atiku Isah are completely fictional.” Seyi Tinubu added.
