Vice President Kashim Shettima and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, have departed Abuja for London to accompany the body of late former President, Muhammadu Buhari, back to Nigeria.
NPO earlier Reported the demise of Buhari, a two termed President who also served as military head of state, who died on Sunday evening.
According to reports, the ex-President died in London where he had come under medical attention after he travelled out of Nigeria few weeks ago.

Buhari had overtime suffered series of medical challenges while in office spending considerable time out of the country for treatment.
In the wake of his death, his successor, President Bola Tinubu, had directed Shettima to fly to London to accompany the ex-President back home.
Shettima would however be also accompanied for the trip by Gbajabiamila as both men were seen in a post shared on X as they boarded the Presidential jet on Sunday night.
