The Federal Government has asked Nigerians to keep eyes on the primary health care centres across wards nationwide after it disbursed a sum of N32.9bn to them to improve the health of Nigerians.
Dr. Mohammed Pate, the Minister of Health, stated this in a red letter statement he released saying that the development is to cause a new revolution in the administration of health at the grassroots.

The Minister charged residents to hold their community leaders responsible on how the money is spent as he reiterated that it is no longer with the Federal Government but disbursed to the bank accounts of each health facilities.

Pate urged Nigerians to help safeguard the spending by visiting the health facilities, joining the committee in charge of the fund, and demand openness.
He maintained that the fund, when nurtured with vigilance, will improve the healthcare system and save lives
