The Lagos State Government , has uncovered 86 rooms under the Dolphin Estate Bridge in the Ikoyi area of the state.
The State’s Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, shared this in an X post on Wednesday.
According to Wahab, a total number of 86 rooms, partitioned into 10×10 and 12×10, and a container used for different illegal activities were discovered.
NPO Reports learnt that the tenants were paying N250,000 per annum for the makeshift apartment under the bridge.
He further revealed that the Ministry’s enforcement team, has vacated the occupants of the building.
“They have all been removed by the enforcement team of Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources”
