Six Kidnapped Students of Tegina College Die in Bandits’ Captivity

Six student of Salihu Tanko Islamiya Tegina  Niger State have reportedly died.

School Principal, Abubakar Alhassan said bandits called him to say that they died of illness while asking the Principal to expedite actions on two payment of ransom to release the remaining pupils of the school.

The pupils were abducted on May 30 this year in one of the most disturbing attacks on schools.

The bandits had demanded for N100m but later raised the sum to N200m.
The government had insisted that it would not pay ransom to kidnappers in Niger State.
