Threatens to Mobilise Protesters to FCT Police Command, Occupy Office

Human Rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has demanded the immediate release of Fineboy Kanu, brother of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and Aloy Ejimakor, one of the defense counsels , to the separatist’s leader.
Fineboy and Ejimakor were earlier on Monday arrested by security operatives deployed across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to disperse the protesters agitating for Kanu’s release.
Ejimakor would in a post on his X handle disclosed that they are currently detained FCT Police Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Zaria Street, Garki Zone 2, Abuja.
Reacting to the detention, Sowore in a separate post on his X handle charged the FCT Police to release the duo and others arrested with them.
He alleged that they are currently being tortured and forced into detention.
Sowore threatened to mobilise the protesters to the Command’s head office and occupy the facility.
