Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka, has met in the Republic of Benin, leader of the Yoruba Nation movement, Mr. Sunday Adeyemo, (aka Sunday Igboho).
Soyinka was accompanied to the visit by another Yoruba agitation leader, Prof Banji Akitoye.
Though, the details of the meeting were not avaiable to the NPO Reports as at the time of filing this report, it was learnt that the trio had a long discussion which might not be unconnected with the bid for Igboho’s total freedom and return to Nigeria.
Igboho was arrested in Benin Republic last year and was hauled into detention by the Beninoise authorities.
He was granted partial freedom on March 7 this year.
Accompanying some photos of the visit was a caption where the agitationist wrote, “It’s my pleasure to have my father, Prof Wole Soyinka around. I wish you more good life Sir.”
