Sequel to the sexual advances allegation laid against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, a group of Akwa-Ibom women have protested against the Kogi lawmaker.
The women had, on Saturday, took to street of Uyo, the state’s capital, as they called out Natasha over her allegations against Akpabio.
NPO reported that the Kogi lawmaker had in an interview on Arise TV yesterday stirred public attention as she revealed how her rejection of Akpabio’s sexual advances marked the beginning of her trouble with the former Akwa-Ibom governor.
Recall that the duo had engaged in heated argument over seat arrangement last week with Natasha accusing the Senate President of discrimination and intimidation.
Her shocking allegation had sparked public outrage with some in defense of Natasha.
However, Akwa-Ibom women expressed their solidarity with Akpabio as they protested against Natasha.
As captured in a now viral video on X, the women charged Natasha to stop insulting Akpabio.
