The Super Eagles of Nigeria has on Sunday departed Abuja for South Africa ahead of their FIFA World Cup Qualifiers showdown against the Bafana Bafanas.
Having revived their qualification hope with a narrow 1-0 win against Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state’s capital, on Saturday, the Nigerian senior team will face South Africa in another must-win game at Bloemfontein.
As captured in a post shared on X on Sunday, the Super Eagles departed from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard ValueJet airline.

Osimehn’s absence had sparked concerns as the team travelled without the Galatasary striker for the epic showdown on Tuesday.
However, the team has Tolu Arokodare whose lone goal stole all three points for Nigeria against Rwanda.
Also present in the squad to fill the boot of fill Osimehn’s boot is Cyril Dessers alongside CAF Player of the year, Ademola Lookman, and Paris FC attacker, Moses Simon.
