Some suspects have been arrested by men of the Police in Lagos after they attempted to abandon a kidnap victim whose full identity is yet to be ascertained.
Command spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin, said in a statement on Wednesday that the victim who appears incoherent and has given different names since he was abandoned, gave indications that he lines at Jakande Estate in Isolo area of Lagos.
According to the Police spokeman in the state, the victim whose face looks between 11 and 14 years old was abducted on Sunday, November 13, at Jakande area of Ikotun,Lagos State.
He added that,the boy whose name according to him(victim) is Timilehin Adeleke was rescued at the point his abductor was planning to abandone him.
He, therefore,called on general public not to hesitate in giving the police any useful information that could assist the police in locating and identifying the victim’s parents or guardians.
He tweeted,RESCUED PERSON: This person was rescued as he was about to be abandoned by his abductor. He is under treatment and is still incoherent. From the little he could mutter, he was abducted in Jakande, Ikotun area on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
“He gave his name as Emmanuel Timilehin Adeleke. He keeps giving different names and addresses for his parents. He looks between 11 and 14 years old. Any information that would assist in locating and identifying his parents/guardians would be appreciated.”

Reacting under Benjamin post,a tweep identified as @ibkDaGreatest said he knew the boy and would fast track how to locate his parents.
