•NLC Lists Meeting Points for Protests

There are fears of confrontations with security operatives across some parts of Nigeria today as the Nigeria Labour Congress moves out its members to effect a national strike.
The NLC and the Trade Union Congress are organizing rallies across the country as part of measures to call attention to the hardships being endured by workers.
As at Tuesday, the Congress had reeled out list of meeting points where workers are expected to farther for peaceful processions
This was just as the Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, on Tuesday vowed that the police would not allow any violent protests.
In Kaduna, workers have been asked to converge at the NLC Secretariat, No 1 Golf Course Road, Kaduna while those in Lagos are to assemble under the bridge in Ikeja, the state capital.
In Kano state, workers are to assemble at MU Dubawa Roundabouts Ahmadu Bello Way, Kano and those in Imo are to meet Control/Asumta Roundabouts.
There were reports of the Labour Unions reconsidering their decision on strike as at yesterday.
However the NLC President Joe Ajaero came up to state that the workers have no reason to call off the strike.
