There was confusion at the premises of the Osun State High Court on Wednesday as the sacked Chief Judge of the state Justice Adepele Ojo forced her way into her office.
She resisted all Attempts to Prevent her entry into the office as judicial workers tried to confront her.
Confusion ensued when some Policemen shot into the air to disperse the protesters led by the chairman of the judiciary workers .
However, the security operatives guiding her resisted it, hence they shot tear gas at the workers who attempted to assault her.
The judicial workers led by the chairman of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Osun State branch, Comrade Gbenga Eludire advanced to the office of CJ to forcefully eject her but they resisted.
Comrade Eludire declared an indefinite strike over the clash.
Governor Ademola Adeleke had approved the recommendation of the State House of Assembly which said Ojo should be suspended.
The approval of the recommendation by Governor Adeleke had sparked outrage with the Nigerian Bar Association saying that it would fold its arms and watch the intimidation of the Chief Judge.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Wale Egbedun had disclosed that one of the allegations for which Ojo is being investigated is the alleged diversion of loots recovered from the bank robbery that occurred in Ikirun.
