Five times Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, has confirmed his exit from Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr.
The Portuguese international gave the announcement in a post on his X handle on Monday.
Ronaldo, who joined Faris Najd in January 2023, expressed his gratitude to the club as he declared the chapter with them closed while hinting opening another chapter of his illustrious career soon.
“This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all.” He wrote
Following his love to Saudi in January 2023, Ronaldo became the face of the Saudi Pro League.
The 40-year-old former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward amassed 25 goals for Al Nassr this season, making him the Golden Boot winner for the second consecutive season.
However, his inability to win trophy with the club despite several individual awards had sparked the speculations of possible exit which he finally confirmed
