Suspended Kogi lawmaker, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, announced her arrival at her hometown in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi state.
The lawmaker, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, was received by her mammoth supporters who had earlier defied the state government’s ban on rally and public gathering.
NPO reported that the supporters had, on Tuesday, assembled at Natasha’s residence as they await her arrival.
With the state government also banning convoy of vehicles ahead of Natasha’s homecoming rally, the lawmaker, as captured in a now viral video on X, arrived at the rally ground in a helicopter.
Addressing the crowd in her dialect, Natasha allayed concern over her ongoing legal clash with the Senate over her sexual harrasment allegation against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
While cheering her supporters, Natasha reaffirmed her allegiance to her root, stressing that nobody can stop her from coming home.
“No man and nothing can stop me from coming home. This is my land. I am the daughter of late Papa Jimoh Akpoti. This is my root. I am not a bystander and I’m not afraid of anyone.” She said.
