Thousands Witness Burial of Bashir Tofa in Kano

The remains of the late presidential candidate of the National Republican Convention in the 1993 election, Alhaji Bashir Tofa, was on Monday laid to rest in Kano.
NPO had earlier Reported that Tofa died in the early hours of Monday at the Bayero University Teaching Hospital at the age of 75.
Expectedly, the burial was witnessed by several political associates of the late businessman, serving and former political office holders.
Among them was former Governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau.
