President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the Downing Street in Westminster for his meeting with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.
This is coming hours after the President was hosted by King Charles III who held a State Banquet held for him at the Windsor Castle to mark his two-day state visit to the nation.
Having departed the Windsor Castle in the hours of Thursday, Tinubu arrived at the Downing Street with video shared on X showing him walk up the alley towards House 10, the residence of the UK Prime Minister who was waiting by the door as the President approached the residence.
NPO Reported that Tinubu had alongside First Lady Oluremi Tinubu arrived in the UK on Tuesday ahead of the state visit.
Following his meeting with King Charles, Tinubu is set hold a bilateral meeting with Starmer.
This will reportedly lead to expanded bilateral engagement between senior officials of the two countries.
The meeting is expected to culminate in the signing of various Memoranda of Understanding and agreements, including those on trade, investment, defence, and cultural cooperation.
