President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Imo State for a one-day working visit.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X on Tuesday.
According to the post, the President arrived at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri, where he was received by the state government officials led by the state governor, Hope Uzodinma.
Also present at the airport to receive the President were the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Jibrin Barau, and some other members of the National Assembly.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, had also earlier arrived at Owerri ahead of the President’s arrival.
Tinubu in his one-day visit to the state will be inaugurating the Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road.
