President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Nasarawa state for his scheduled one-day working visit.
The President on Wednesday landed at Lafia airport where he was received by the state government officials led by the state governor, Abdullahi Sule.
Also present at the airport to receive the President were the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Forum as well as the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
NPO Reported that Tinubu is billed to commission some projects completed by Abdullahi.
The state’s Commissioner Information and Culture, Dr. Tanko Ibrahim, had in a statement issued yesterday expressed the Nasarawa’s readiness to host the President.
Tanko, in a statement issued today, disclosed that the President will be received at the Usman Danfodio Airport, Lafia.
“The president will be received at the Usman Danfodio Airport in Lafia and will proceed to commission the under/overhead Lafia bridge.
“After which, the president will pay homage to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage, rtd, at his palace.” He had written.
Tinubu will also be engaging in a town hall meeting with Nasarawa state’s stakeholders in the course of the visitation.
