President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu have both arrived at the Windsor Royal Dais with King Charles III and Queen Camilla receiving the Nigerian leader and his wife.
Tinubu, accompanied by Prince Williams and his wife, Princess Catherine, arrived at the castle around 2:00am on Wednesday.
NPO earlier Reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales had received Tinubu and his wife at the Fairmont Hotel ahead of the trip to the Windsor Castle.
On arrival, King Charles III and Queen Catherine formally received the Nigerian leader to the United Kingdom, exchanging pleasantries before introducing him and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to other prominent officials at the Royal House.
According to reports, a full military parade took place on the lawns of Windsor, with soldiers in traditional dress giving a royal salute.
While a state banquet at St George’s Hall will feature speeches by King Charles and President Tinubu, attended by political leaders and cultural figures, there will however be no formal lunch with the King in respect to the Ramdan fasting observed by Tinubu
Meanwhile, First Oluremi Tinubu, who is an ordained pastor, will be preaching at a service at Lambeth Palace and meet leaders of the Church of England during the visit.
