The presidential candidates of the All Progressive Congress Bola Tinubu and Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, have again met at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja Monday afternoon.
According to the APC campaign office which released the video of the encounter, Tinubu was on his way out of Abuja to Jos where the flag off of the party’s campaign is holding on Tuesday while Atiku was returning to Abuja after a campaign rally.
The duo could be seen chatting as they sat close to each other.
Others seen in the video include a former presidential aspirant in the PDP, National Chairman of the APC, Adamu Abdulahi while former boss of the EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu, could be seen crossing the lounge where they were all seated.
The duo had on October 17, met at the same venue and also on their respective campaign journeys.
Both Atiku and Tinubu had been in same political camp before. This is the first time they would be jostling for the same position. Whoever wins the race in February next year has the chance of slamming a compulsory retirement on the other with the both of them over 70 years of age.

While this is the first shot of Tinubu at the presidency, Atiku is making a sixth trial. He had contested for the same position in 1993, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019.
While many factors stand in the favour of Tinubu in his party, Atiku is battling with internal crisis with many governors not seen to be working for his emergence.
