President Bola Tinubu has named new set of aides to work with him six weeks after assuming office.
The new appointees include a former Editor at ThisDay Newspaper, Mr. Tunde Rahman who has been appointed Senior Special Assistant (SSA); former Editor at Daily Trust, Mr. Abdul-Aziz Abdul Aziz and Mr. Temitope Ajayi. Others include Toyin Subair who is in Charge of Domestic Affairs while Ibrahim Masari in charge of Political Matters.

Rahman, a graduate of Political Science from the University of Ilorin, began his career as a journalist at the Lagos Horizon before joining Daily Times from where he joined the PUNCH and rose become the News Editor. He later joined ThisDay and became the Editor Sunday. He left Thisday to set Western Post, a newspaper that later focused on online publishing. He later joined Tinubu as Head of Media Office before the commencement of the campaigns.
Rahman hails from Iwo in Osun state.
