A law graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has tragically passed away barely a day after her convocation ceremony.
This was disclosed in a post shared by an X user on Thursday.
According to the post, the law graduate identified as Maryam Agoro, died yesterday.
While the cause of her death was not disclosed, the X user, identified as Confidence Ufoma, mourned the passing of the graduate.
“You did your convocation yesterday and today you’re no more,” the post read. “You deserve to be celebrated and you will be.
“My sister, Evidence was always rooting for you and after seeing you in that miserable condition the last time, I hoped you’d get better.
“I know you’re smiling from where you are because ‘UNILAG didn’t end you.’ You ended UNILAG, in joy,” Confidence wrote.
The news of graduate’s demise had also sparked reactions from other netizens who expressed their shock and sadness over the tragic development.
