No fewer than 10 suspected terrorists have been neutralised following raid on their hideout by the joint troops of Operation Fasan Yamma in Zamfara State.
This was disclosed in a post shared on the Nigerian Army’s official X handle on Monday.
According to the post, the troops had yesterday carried out a well-coordinated, deadly attack on the outlaws’ locations at Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba in Gusau Local Government Area as well as Munhaye in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State.
Coupled with the elimination of the suspected terrorists, the troops also recovered several arms and ammunition while destroying five motorcycles owned by the terrorists.
The post read; “Joint troops of Operation Fasan Yamma eliminated 10 terrorists in a well-coordinated, deadly attack on the outlaws’ locations at Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba in Gusau LGA, and Munhaye in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State today, June 9, 2025.
“The operation resulted in the recovery of several arms and ammunition, and the destruction of 5 terrorist-owned motorcycles in-situ.”
