Outgoing United States President, Joe Biden, is set to receive newly re-elected President, Donald Trump, in the Oval Office on Wednesday, the White House says.
This was contained In a short statement issued by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
While details of the meeting largely remains sketchy, the meeting is, however, slated to hold by 11:00 am on Wednesday.
“At President Biden’s invitation, President Biden and President-Elect Trump will meet in the Oval Office on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Additional details to follow.” The statement read.
This is coming days after the Biden’s Vice President and Democrats candidate, Kamala Harris, suffered defeat to Trump.
The Republican President-elect ousted Harris at the poll to record a historical comeback.
