The Tanimu Turaki-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has arrived at the Court Appeal in Abuja for the hearing of it case on the ongoing leadership crisis in the party.
Turaki arrived at the court’s premises on Thursday morning alongside other members of the NWC and their legal counsels.
Aso accompanying the National Chairman are prominent PDP stakeholders, including Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, BOT Members, Chairman of Edo State, Dr Tony Aziegbemi, who is also the Chairman of PDP State Chairmen and several other former NWC members.
As contained in a post shared on the party’s official X handle, the appellate court is set to resume the hearing of the appeals filed by the faction regarding the party’s leadership.
The hearing is being held before a three-member panel of the Court of Appeal.
