The management of micro-blogging Apps, Twitter has declined to suspend Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai from being for a period of time following the report of one of his response to the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi’s supporter
el-Rufai had earlier on Monday responded to a tweet by @ZamarOmar who stated stated that Kaduna State would soon witness Two Million March for Obi.
@ZamarOmar wrote “Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi”.
el-Rufai had responded to the twitter user by expressing disbelief, “In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? – I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays and came on overnight bus last night!
“I jus’ dey laff, wallahi tallahi!!”.
One of Obi’s supporters who found the response threatening and embarrassing, went ahead to report the Governor’s account to the management of twitter for possible blocking/suspension.
Having conducted a thorough investigation, twitter concluded that nothing worthy incriminating was found in el-Rufai’s response.
Management wrote, “Hello
“Twitter is required by German law to provide notice to users who are reported by people from Germany via the Network Enforcement Act reporting flow.
“We have received a complaint regarding your account,@elrufai, for the following content.

“We have investigated the reported content and have found that it is not subject to removal under the Twitter Rules.”
Reacting to twitter’s response, el-Rufai said the desperation of so-called ‘Obidients’ knows no bounds
“The desperation of so-called ‘Obidients’ knows no bounds….they insult everyone they disagree with, but cannot accept that some find them disagreeable & have opinions too! One of them in Germany found my tweet too hot to handle. @Twitter responded below.
“I STILL DEY LAFF!”
