Few days after a 54-year-old man, Joseph Ojo, set ablaze his five stepchildren in Ondo State, two of children have given up the ghost.
The two children pass on after one of them died before getting to the hospital when the incident occurred on Saturday.
Ojo had set ablaze the children at his residence in Fagun crescent area of Condo town, headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The man who had been arrested by the police was said to have alleged his wife who is mother of the children of denying him of sex.
With the issue leading to argument between them, Ojo allegedly poured petrol into the room while the children were fast asleep set it on fire.
Confirming the development, the police spokesperson in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami, stated that the two children died because they could not recover from the burns.

”Two of the children died because they could not recover from the severe burns.But everything is being done to save the two remaining children.”
The state’s PPRO added that the man had been apprehended by the police for a case of alleged arson and murder.
Odunlami said that the suspect would soon be charged to court.
