Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has claimed that the United States’ air strike action on terrorists in the North West Nigeria was carried out without the consent of President Bola Tinubu.
Sowore refuted the Federal Government’s claim of being engaged over the air strike action.
As contained in a statement issued on his official X handle on Friday, the former Presidential candidate accused the US President, Donald Trump of violating Nigeria’s sovereignty.
Sowore decried the strike action which he alleged to have landed on a village in Sokoto state.
This, according to him, showed that Trump neither understand nor care about Nigeria.
He maintained that only true, tested, and informed leadership can protect Nigerians and not Trump whose administration he labelled imperiled and jaundiced neoconservatives.
, purportedly targeting terrorist groups within Nigeria. Although the Nigerian government now claims it was aware and describes the operation as a joint effort with vague “international partners,” it is evident that the strikes were carried out without the genuine authority or informed consent of the weaklings masquerading as government under President Bola Tinubu.
