    US, Israel, Iran War Carries Grave Consequences; Macron Warns

    The French President, Emmanuel Macron, has warned of grave consequences over the outbreak of war between the United States, Israel, and Iran.

    Macron’s warning is coming under the heels of the US and Israel’s attack on Iran’s capital Tehran.

    NPO Reported that Tehran had on Saturday come under multiple missile attack which killed the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khameni.

    In the wake of the incident, Iran had launched retaliatory attack on neighbouring Gulf Region countries believed to be hosting he US military base including UAE, Bahrain, and Quwait amongst others.

    Reacting to the development in a post shared on his X handle on Sunday, Macron warned that the war outbreak carries grave consequences for international peace and security.

    The French President called for an end to the attacks as he urged the Iranian regime to engage in negotiation to end its nuclear and ballistic programmes.

    “The outbreak of war between the United States, Israel, and Iran carries grave consequences for international peace and security.
    “At this decisive moment, every measure is being taken to ensure the security of our national territory, our citizens, and our interests in the Middle East.
    “The Iranian regime must understand that it now has no other option but to engage in good faith in negotiations to end its nuclear and ballistic programs, as well as its regional destabilization activities.
    “This is absolutely necessary for the security of all in the Middle East. The Iranian people must also be able to freely build their future.” He wrote.
    Macron however expressed France readiness to support its allies as he called for an end to the alleged massacre comitted by the Islamic regime in Iran.
    He also charged the United Nations Security Council to hold an emergency meeting to address the issue.
    “France also stands ready to deploy the necessary resources to protect its closest partners, should they request it. The ongoing escalation is dangerous for all. It must stop.
    “The massacres committed by the Islamic regime disqualify it and demand that the voice be returned to the people. The sooner, the better.
    “Faithful to its principles and aware of its international responsibilities, France is calling for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council. I am in close contact with our European partners and friends in the Middle East.” Macron added.
