Nigerian Social Media Influencer, Martin Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan) has called out cryptocurrency billionaire, Linus Williams, popularly known as BLord, over alleged plan to defraud client of his new Real Estate property.
VDM had in a post on his official X handle on Sunday how the client, simply identified as Mr. Kingsley, showed interest in the City of David real estate property owned by BLord.
Kingsley contacted the BLord Group in charge of the estate who told him land purchase in the estate cost N15 million.
He was, however, informed that he can pay in installments with the initial payment of N8.5 million while payment the rest within six months period.
VDM disclosed that the client made an instant payment of N4 million while balancing the remaining N4.5 million initial payment during the signing of agreement on the 5th of December, 2024.
The subsequent payment, according to the agreement, was to be made on or before July 2025.
Things would however take a different twist few days after signing as a staff from BLord Group sent a voice note to Kingsley, demanding for the balance payment or risk being refunded.
As heard in the attached voice note sent on the 14th of December, the staff informed Kingsley of BLord’s the urgent need for the balance to construct the estate road.
The cryptocurrency billionaire, according to his staff, threatened to refund Kingsley if he failed to pay up which was against the agreement.
Kingsley, in a WhatsApp text to VDM, disclosed how he managed to pay additional N1.5 million with the hope of spreading the rest across the agreed six months interval.
Despite the payment, BLord Group kept demanding for the balance with threat to refund.
Unable to make the payment due to his father’s funeral, Kingsley had demanded for refund which BLord Group failed to do.
“I paid 8.5m as first installment and signed the agreement to pay the remaining balance in 6 months time, two part ways, they called and kept on threat.aing to refund my money until I paid another 1.5m making it total of 10m, now they still pushing me to complete the payment or get refund.
“Because of my father’s funeral I can’t empty myself then i accept refund still they kept the money and refused to refund me instantly, telling me it’s takes time before they will refund
“Yesterday I got another land opportunity of N7m in good position in Enugu, I can’t process to buy it, because they sized my money, the land I bought from him as we agreed is not standing yet I can’t get my money instantly to do other things.” Kingsley wrote.
Reacting, VDM faulted BLord for not standing by the agreement with Kingsley while still being reluctant of refunding him after the threat.
The social media influencer, however, told Kingsley not to demand for the refund again as he insisted on sticking with the agreement plan while warning BLord against attempt to revoke the land.
“First of all, you are not standing with the agreement that you people had with a spread payment. Oya you threatened the guy say una go refund am. The guy said okay no problem, refund me. Yet you are still holding on to the money. Is this fair BLord?
“Anyways, here is what will happen. You people will stand on that agreement. I’ve told the guy not to even collect the money again. You must give him that land and based on that agreement, the N5 million balance must be spread.
“It must be spread- unless if the guy did not want again. Agreement is agreement.
“You can’t oppress the guy because you fell say you get levels pass the guy. It’s not done. That payment must be spread. If you are ready, na me go give am the lawyer. We will go court.” He said.
VDM further accused Real Estate agents of alleged habit of revoking land from initial buyer to resell to another higher bidder.
He also disclosed BLord’s rude response to Kingsley in a private chat on Whatsapp.
