Nigerian social media influencer and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has promised to directly report cases of insecurity to the new Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (Rtd).
VeryDarkMan made this known while congratulating the new Defence Minister on his appointment in a post on his X handle on Thursday.
While sharing pictures he took with the former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), the activist described his appointment as a major breakthrough for him as it will enable him report cases of insecurity to him easily based on their relationship.
“GENERAL CHRISTOPHER GWABIN MUSA is now officially the Defense Minister of Nigeria and guess who has a picture with him? The RATEL KING.
“This is also another major breakthrough for VDM as he can easily report cases of insecurity directly to him.
“The poor dirty boy like many of you called is now standing before ministers.
“You see this life? Be careful with who you look down on. Congratulations and we pray he does great work.” VeryDarkMan wrote.
NPO Reported that Musa was yesterday sworn-in by President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja following the Senate’s approval of his appointment after five-hour long screening on Wednesday.
Tinubu had appointment the ex-Army Chief to replace the immediate past Defence Minister, Mohammed Badaru, who resigned earlier this week on health ground.
Musa’s appointment had highly been commended by members of the public who considered him a right fit for the job based on his military experience.
