As Nigerian Breweries Gift Team N50m

The Super Falcons of Nigeria has on Wednesday given Lagosians a taste of their 10th Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title as they paraded the trophy the streets of Lagos.
NPO earlier Reported the arrival of the Nigerian women national team in the state following their grand reception in Abuja where they were hosted by President Bola Tinubu on arrival from Morocco.
The Super Falcons had pulled a dramatic 3-2 comeback against the host nation on Sunday to set the historical which was dubbed the Mission X.

They were given hero’s welcome at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with the President conferring the national honour of the Order of the Niger (OON) on each member of the team while also gifting them three-bedroom apartment and $100,000 each.
The celebration however continued today as the Super Falcons sponsors Amstel and Goldberg, brought the team to Lagos for another round of reception.

After the official reception, the Super Falcons took to the street in an open-top bus parade.
As captured in series of post shared on X, the parade attracted several residents and commuters who were seen hailing the team with some escorting the heavily guarded bus.
The bus was spotted along Marina-Leventis axis.
Meanwhile, prior to the parade, the Nigerian Breweries which bottles Amstel Malta and Goldberg, gifted the team N50 million at its Iganmu corporate head office in celebration of the Super Falcons historical feat.
