The Nigerian Police Force has debunked commencement of recruitment exercise, labelling a public notice attributed to it as false and misleading.
As against the public notice which announced that the recruitment exercise will commence on the 22nd of September, the Force in a statement issued on its official X handle on Sunday maintained that no recruitment exercise is taking place.
It urged members of the public to disregard the announcement while noting that any information relating to the Force should be verified on its official website and social media platforms.
The statement read; “The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the general public that the information currently circulating regarding an upcoming recruitment exercise is false and misleading as no recruitment is currently taking place within the Force.
“Members of the public are strongly advised to disregard such announcements and are encouraged to verify any information relating to the Nigeria Police Force through our official website and verified social media platforms.
“For accurate and verified information, always refer to the official communication channels of the Nigeria Police Force, which are available on all major social media platforms as well as our official website.”
