More facts emerged on Wednesday over the death of the Obafemi Awolowo University student Timothy Adegoke at the Hilton Hotel, Ile Ife in November last year.
The receptionist and one of the accused being tried over the alleged murder, Magdalene Chiefuna confessed under cross-examination in Osogbo that after the lifeless body of Timothy had been discovered, she and others were taken to the office of the owner of the hotel, Ramon Adedoyin by his son, Raheem Adedoyin and were forced to take an oath never to talk to anyone over what they saw.
She was under examination by Femi Falana, SAN at the resumed hearing of the matter.
Chiefuna said the following day, when the lodger was not seen at the reception area, she had to take a spare key to Room 305, opened the door, where she met Adegoke in the room lying face up.
She said his lifeless body was wrapped in duvet exposing only his face on the bed.
Timothy was believed to have been killed at the hotel when he travelled to Ile Ife for his MBA examination from Abuja where he worked as a Chattered Accountant.
