Ibadan-based radio station, Fresh FM, has resumed operation few hours after its studios were razed by fire.
NPO earlier Reported the devastating incident which, according to the statement issued by the station, affected two studios.
Coupled with the badly burnt studios, the station’s newsroom, transmitter/server room, and several equipment were also torched by the fire.
However, Fresh FM in a statement issued on its official X handle on Saturday declared that it is back on air.
The station again expressed gratitude to everyone who rallied around the facility during the incident.
The statement read; “After a challenging period due to the recent fire outbreak, we are thrilled to announce that we are back on air.
“Thanks to the incredible support from our team, emergency services, and you- our loyal audience, we have overcome this hurdle stronger than ever.”
