The Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, has said that an official of the force who came only to cast aspersions on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has been arrested.
Lagbaja said the soldier after his arrest, has come under investigations and would be disciplined accordingly.
The Army chief said the soldier does not represent what the Nigerian Army stands for adding that only one soldier has been found to have made statement on the arrest of a fellow soldier.
NPO Reports recalls that Sanwo-Olu had last week apprehended a soldier on motorbike riding against traffic.
The soldier, after being arrested by security aides of the Governor, had said he was a soldier to which Sanwo-Olu told him it was the more reason he would be locked up.
