“Sometimes we imagine what again to advise him because when you are thinking of something and put forward an issue, you will discover that the governor was there before you can.
“I want appreciate God for his life. We may hear about other things even from the clergy. That is not true. It is either for political reason or personal hatred.
“Minus that, we have a good governor. I conclude by quoting again Proverbs 29:2 when good people run things, everyone is glad. Father Alia is a good man.” Anegbe said.
Recall that Alia had emerged winner of the 2023 Benue State Governorship election.
The governor contested under the All Progressives Congress (APC) and defeated his closest rival, Titus Uba of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Prior to his emergence as the governor, Alia was suspended by the Catholic church over his active participation in politics.
He however defied the odd in pursuit of his ambition which was met with strong oppositions.
