Popular Nigerian socialite, Isaac Fayose, has slammed fellow socialite and business man, Pascal Okechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest), labelling him a ‘puppy dog’ for Kneeling before Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Cubana Chief Priest had sparked public outrage over the viral post of him kneeling before the Vice President.
Prior to his meeting with Shettima, the socialite had alongside Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido, met with the Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
His meeting with Shettima however came under public scrutiny and criticism with Isaac Fayose also joining the critics in a post on his Instagram handle on Sunday.
Fayose accused Cubana Chief Priest of lacking integrity and diligence as compared to popular Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, Seyi Vodi.
NPO Reported that the Vodi had hosted Shettima who came to his store on Sunday for shopping.
While hailing the Abuja-based businessman over his modest conduct before the Vice President, Fayose alleged that Cubana Chief Priest Knelt before Shettima in effort to get protection for his shady business.
“There is huge difference between competency and incompetency. There is massive difference between integrity and non-integrity. I want to give you an example today.
“There is a guy called Seyi Vodi. Vice President was there yesterday to patronize him. He wasn’t kneeling down. He wasn’t doing anything. He was moving round because he has integrity. He has track record.
“And there is another video of Money na Water Cubana Chief Priest. He dey kneel down. He knelt down like a puppy, as orobo as he be, before the same Vice President because he doesn’t have any track record.
“Who knows Cubana Chief Priest before? Do you know him seven years ago? How did he get the money? He drives a car of N1.6 billion. He has other ones everywhere.
“How did he make his money? We don’t know! That’s why you see him kneeling down for the powers that be. Maybe he is looking for protection.
“But you see Seyi Vodi, because he is upright and diligent in his way, he stand even as the Vice President came to patronize him.” Fayose said.
He further harped on the need for diligence and having a track record.
“Be diligent in your ways so that the high and mighty will come to you. Don’t be like money na water. Their fame and power are for a short time because there is no track record for the money.
“They just came and jump in. Nobody knows him before. So he needs all the protection he can get to keep the money.
“I want to advise you in life, whatever you do, stay on your track record and work well and diligently. Then, you will be a superman. Then you will not be kneeling down like a puppy dog, unnecessary eye service
“Money na Water, your money no trip me because I don’t know the source of your money. But Seyi Vodi, three gbosa for you.” He added.
However, Cubana Chief Priest tend to be unmoved by the criticism has he was again spotted at the President Villa on Sunday where he met with President Bola Tinubu.
As captured in a post shared on his Instagram handle, the socialite also knelt down for the President while pledging his allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the caption of the post.
“They symbol is the broom. Together they can never break us. @officialasiwajubat 001 My desire for you is more than I can explain.” He wrote.
