Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed his delight over the state’s new urban look as he announced the 80% percent completion of the Oke Fia flyover in Osogbo, the state’s capital.
Adeleke gave the update of the ongoing project in a post on his X handle on Tuesday.
The governor held that the development, which is part of his administration’s transitioning of that from a civil service state to an emerging industrial zone, marked another milestone in his mission to build a modern and accessible state.
This, according to him, will create enabling environment for businesses to thrive across the state’s geo-political zones.
Adeleke expressed his gratitude to the people of Osun state for their support in rewriting the story of the state.
The post read; “Changing the Osun State narrative from a civil service state to an emerging industrial zone is no longer a dream — it is becoming a reality.
“I am pleased to share that the Oke Fia Flyover, Osogbo is now 80% completed, marking another milestone in our mission to build a modern and accessible Osun State.
“Creating an enabling environment for businesses is central to our development agenda, and a solid road network is key to that vision. From Ile-Ife to Osogbo, Ede to Ilesha, Iwo to Ila-Orangun, we are delivering infrastructure across all geo-political zones — simultaneously and with purpose.
“I thank the good people of Osun for their continued support and prayers. Together, we are rewriting the story of our state, and this is just the beginning. Let us keep moving forward — one project, one community, and one success at a time.”
