An elderly woman caught selling cannabis, an illicit substance locally known as igbo, with her daughters threatened a whistleblower with a knife during confrontation.
The woman was reportedly caught with her daughters in Ijebu-Igbo area of Ogun state.
Video capturing the confrontation and shared on Instagram on Saturday showed the suspected drug dealer abusing the whistleblower while on her daughters recorded the man.
Speaking in Yoruba, the visibly enraged woman claimed not to be the only one selling the illicit substances.
“Even if you catch anyone selling igbo, you can’t kill them. The highest you can do is to arrest. Besides, we are not the only ones selling igbo in the world.” She said before stepping out of the car with a kitchen knife.
She could be seen pointing the knife at the whistleblower while abusing him alongside her daughters.
