Deputy Governor of Kogi State Edward Onoja, on Saturday said while Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna is talking about knowing the locations of terrorists and listening to their conversations, his Governor Yahaya Bello knew the locations of terrorists in Kogi State but silently went after them.
Onoja, while called upon to speak at the public declaration by Bello for the 2023 presidential election in Abuja on Saturday, said his governor has tackled insecurity headlong adding that Bello is not given to talking but acting.
He said while he thanked el-Rufai for letting Nigerians know the locations of the terrorists making life unbearable for Kaduna residents, Bello he said Bello’s decision to attack the terrorists has made the state to be free of attacks.
He said the decision by the Kaduna Governor to just talk about the attacks and not act is the difference between Bello and el-Rufai.
“Gov Yahaya Bello demystified the monsters of tribalism and religious bigotry,” Onoja said
Onoja said other leaders have failed to tackle monster of tribalism and the monster of religious affiliation making it impossible for them to stamp out insecurity.
